Portlethen household recycling centre is to accept polystyrene, as part of a trial by Aberdeenshire Council, from Monday 25 January.

A one-year trial with Styropack was launched last February, but the initiative was halted as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Now bins have again been designated for polystyrene within the three participating centres at Banchory, Portlethen and Stonehaven.
