What about the C13K road, it’s practically disappearing every day? I wrote to the council about it and they say they’re looking into it – so we’ll see. At the moment it’s very dangerous.

The Portlethen – Netherley road has been taking a battering from AWPR traffic. The council’s aim is to keep it safe for now, which isn’t an easy task over the winter period especially. The AWPR was due to open in the winter of 2017/18 according to the government, and that impacts on how the repairs to the C13K are timetabled. We should have been looking at the AWPR construction project coming to an end now, with there being no need for heavy traffic at the Rothnick site. However now we are told by ministers it will be the spring. There is even doubts about that. In the meantime please keep reporting potholes on the road.
