The consortium building the Aberdeen bypass has been ordered to pay £280,000 to local groups after polluting local rivers including the Dee.

They report that the Bettridge will get £40,000 to surface the car park, Newtonhill Environment Action Team £1850 for a shed; Maryculter Woodland Trust £20,000 for paths; and Newtonhill History Group £3000, amongst others.
