It looks as if the NHS is going to close the dispensary in the Portlethen medical centre as there is a pharmacy next door.

The current system has worked very well for those residents who live in my village of Muchalls. I am at a loss to understand how this proposed closure will benefit patients such as myself- as opposed to giving a monopoly to commercially run pharmacies that will be inconvenient for me to use and whose profits I have no interest in aiding.
This move is against the interests of proper competition and is detrimental to my right to exercise choice.
