Hunter Construction (Aberdeen) Ltd has been contracted to carry out permanent repairs along Muirend Road, Portlethen.

This in addition to the contract awarded to Hunter Construction patching potholes in Portlethen, Newtonhill and Muchalls.

I am told by the Roads Service that on occasions when there are small amounts of material left over from these works the contractor uses the excess material to fill in defects / holes nearby (a temporary repair) rather than transport the material back offsite for disposal.
