Acciona – the company constructing and eventually operating an energy-from-waste facility in Tullos, Aberdeen – tonight announced it has opened a scheme for community groups in the city, Aberdeenshire and Moray to apply for funding for projects.

The scheme covers all three local authorities as the facility will handle household waste from the three councils when it opens.
