Stagecoach will be increasing its commercial services from Monday 19 April to similar levels of frequency which operated before the latest lockdown, subject to some minor adjustments.

This increase in services takes into consideration the expected lift in passenger numbers with the return of all pupils to schools and many businesses reopening.

In the Kincardine and Mearns area the changes are:

– Services 26 and 107 return to pre-lockdown timetables.

– Service 7/7B will offer journeys up to every 30 minutes between Aberdeen and Portlethen, with hourly journeys serving Newtonhill and Chapelton. Certain journeys will extend to/from Stonehaven.

– Service X7 will offer two express journeys per hour between Aberdeen and Stonehaven, with hourly journeys continuing to operate further south towards Montrose, Dundee and Perth.
