Aberdeenshire Council’s Waste Service has provided a 240l bin at the entrance to Clochdighter Hill, west of Hillside.
Unfortunately a blue-lidded recycling bin was put in place initially, but it was being swapped for a black-lidded bin, to avoid confusion!
The bin is there for a six months trial following an increase in litter on the path through Clochandighter woods. The replacement bin will be stickered for dog waste and litter.
The bin will be serviced every week.
