Covid-19: Schooling gears up

Home learning will begin from Monday and Aberdeenshire schools will be communicating plans with parents. Some schools have already issued timetables to families.

The council has distributed more than 4,000 IT devices to schools across Aberdeenshire as part of the Connecting Scotland Fund and also thanks to donations from the Aberdeenshire Educational Trust.

Meanwhile more than 3000 school places have been requested by the parents of category 1 and 2 keyworker parents. This is greater than anticipated. However there will be some schools across Aberdeenshire which – at the moment – will have no children attending.
